| Each month I host an “Ask Me Anything” meeting on the first Tuesday at 9 PM EDT: https://retinue.live/pauldarrama. The next session is on April 1st—last time, I took some heat from members over past actions of the LNC! I’d love for you to join the discussion. Join or Renew LP Membership! I’m running another donation survey and would love your input! Are you currently donating? If not, what are your top three reasons for donating or not donating? Let me know your thoughts! Following Counsel’s review of a director-level employment contract or a contract with a contractor for a director-level position, the Chair or the Executive Director shall submit to the EPCC the proposed contract and any related advice from Counsel. This contract is for a staff review and I hope it will provide better structure on appropriate roles. It wasn’t my personal number one priority but Steven was able to get fundraising for it. 20250302-02 – Darr – Kyle Davis, Trendalyn Hallesy ELECT CONVENTION OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE (2 VACANCIES) 20250305-01 – Darr – Yes Motion: To amend the Policy Manual Section 1.03—Committees Employment Policy and Compensation: Three (3) Five (5) LNC Members other than the LNC Chair 20250305-02 – Darr – Abstain Motion: Appoint Pat Ford as CoC Chair. 20250313-01 – Darr – Jessi Cowart, Adrian Malagon ELECT EPCC MEMBERS (2 VACANCIES) VOTING METHOD: Vote for up to two. Majority required. Jessi I know from Texas she has extensive experience in this area. As far as remaining members that wished to serve Mr. Malagon was the best qualified for contract writing. I primarily want employment contracts out of this committee that meet my professional standard. Special Investigatory Committee I am the Special Investigatory Committee Chair. We have met formally six times. We have conducted six interviews and have one scheduled for later this week. We have also conducted another estimated 60 hours of reviews of financial records, call records, email records, and other documentation. To say we are taking this very seriously would be an understatement. Information Services (I.S.) Committee This Committee is appointed by the LNC Chair. Due to the resignation of Angela McArdle they have technically not been reformed yet. I expect to be an LNC member on the committee. I have met with the remaining members twice.I have also received an interesting proposal to get the remaining states still on Civi on their own independent Civi platform or data to export to where they wish. I will work to expedite that process as best that I can. This is a decision that is still being discussed among staff and officers. State Affiliates Page The State Affiliates Page is live again at: https://lp.org/state-affiliates/ It is now in a more responsive mobile friendly format with page thumbnails for each states webpage. I already submitted updates for Illinois and Wyoming. If any further corrections are needed please email me at my LNC email and I will make sure to get the update to staff.
