Springfield, MO – January 12, 2026 –
Cecil Ince today announced his candidacy for Missouri State Senate District 30, bringing proven electoral experience to the competitive open seat.
Ince ran for Missouri Secretary of State in 2004, securing 51,964 votes (1.94%) statewide. He challenged Republican Lincoln Hough in 2016 for Greene County Commission District 2, earning 13,261 votes (21.61%) in a strong local showing.
Now targeting the seat vacated by term-limited Sen. Lincoln Hough, Ince looks forward to facing Democratic Rep. Betsy Fogle and Republican Rep. Melanie Stinnett in the 2026 election cycle.
A longtime Greene County resident, Ince is prepared to represent southwest Missouri in Jefferson City.
