| Each month I host an “Ask Me Anything” meeting on the first Tuesday at 9 PM EDT. https://retinue.live/pauldarrama The next session is May 6th. I’d love for you to join the discussion. If you would like to join or renew your membership please do so at: Join the LP Apply Now for LNC Bylaws and Ballot Access Committees These will be selected at the mid-May LNC meeting so quick application is needed. If you have any questions. please contact the LNC Secretary, Caryn Ann Harlos, at se*******@**.org. Meetings and Email Ballots Ballot: 20250406-01 Motion: To amend the Policy Manual Section 1.04 — Committee Scope & Responsibilities Vote: Darr Yes. Reason: The portion I cared about was that the LNC would have oversight of both the convention date and location. Ballot: 20250406-02 Motion: To authorize up to $16,000 for HQ roof repairs. Vote: Darr Abstain Reason: While the plan is to still sell the building, we need to limit the water damage that can occur with a leaking roof. I abstained while I was acting as Chair for the vote but I am in favor of protecting our assets. Ballot: 20250406-03 Motion: Appoint past Bylaws committee members. Vote: Darr Yes. Reason: Will we even get to Bylaws? We will see if this is the year. I was fine expending little energy on this committee. We will see what they produce this time around. Ballot: 20250406-04 Motion: To amend the Policy Manual Section 1.11 – Party Records Vote: Darr Yes. Reason: I like the approval going to an LNC Vote. Notice of In-Person LNC Meeting May 17-18, 2025 Special Investigatory Committee I am the Special Investigatory Committee Chair. ● We have weekly meetings and have met formally seven times. ● We have conducted seven interviews. ● We have also conducted another estimated 60 hours of reviews of financial records, call records, email records, and other documentation. ● We have met with legal counsel once and will have counsel review the report prior to distribution to the LNC. ● The committee is working at a steady deliberate pace and is expecting to have a full report completed on or before the May LNC meeting State CiviCRM Pages Many states have inquired about the current state of CiviCRM and want to have a process in place to export and have control of their own CRM and email. There is a project that will be in place to help allow this. More details will follow as this project progresses. Project Archimedes I will use Stevens’ social announcement on the project. I came into the party during the time this project was active and I am excited to see it modernized. His post can be found directly on X at: https://x.com/StevenNekhaila/status/1909072270565212577 ![]() Membership Report February https://groups.google.com/g/lnc-public/c/DGpo_sHjTxA Sustaining Members -2.47% Fundraising Membership has been on a continuous decline the past few years. For the long term, Project Archimedes will reverse this. In the short term, we need to increase member retention and regain members we have lost. We need to utilize traditional membership tools in the meantime to get this done. I have been personally calling members of all types across the party and asking all members to support us. If you have allowed your LP National membership to lapse, I ask you to rejoin as a monthly member.
